Global Configuration settings include:
- Enable Email Notifications Digest plug-in
- always checked (switched on) by default
- when checked, notification digest will be sent to all users in the system at specified date/time
when unchecked, the digest will not be sent to any user
Note If an admin switches off digest emails, users will not be able to switch it on in their personal configuration settings:
- always checked (switched on) by default
- Do not send empty digests
- When ND plug-in is enabled, the system will send the digest only when any updates are available
- This option is always switched on
- Maximum number of updates per digest
- Defines the maximum number of updates in JIRA after which the digest should be sent to users' emails
Default number = 150
Note The system will send a digest email immediately once maximum number of updates is reached.

- Defines date and time at which digest will be sent to users' emails
- Default values = 8 am, 7 pm Mon - Fri
