A concept of a team is pretty straightforward in ActivityTimeline, which is essentially a group of people united into a single entity. Note, that teams inside ActivityTimeline do not relate to Jira teams by default but can be imported into ActivityTimeline app.

There are 4 types of Teams in ActivityTimeline: Classic, Functional (Dynamic), Teams imported from Jira Groups, and Jira Teams. The difference behind these 4 types of teams is the way how they are formed and maintained.
