A concept of a team is pretty straightforward in ActivityTimeline, which is essentially a group of people united into a single entity. Note, that teams inside ActivityTimeline do not relate to Jira teams as this feature was added much later than we had it inside ActivityTimelineby default but can be imported into ActivityTimeline app.

Note:Only people with Admin or Manager user roles can access/ create or edit teams in ActivityTimeline.

There are 2 4 types of Teams in ActivityTimeline: Classic and , Functional (Dynamic), Teams imported from Jira Groups, and Jira Teams. The difference behind these 2 4 types of teams is the way how they are formed and maintained.
