In case when several people are assigned to work on JIRA ticket, and that ticket contains Assignee and Collaborators (custom field in JIRA of multiple user picker type), ActivityTimeline will split the issue into parts.
Issue Collaborators configuration
To make AT respect Collaborators JIRA setting, configuration needs to be adjusted in ActivityTimeline. To change the configuration, please follow the steps:
- Go to AT Dashboard > Configuration > JIRA Integration page
- In Advanced link section set Timeline Assignee = Assignee (or any other supported field) and Issue Collaborators = Collaborators
3. Press Update to save the changes
Issue on Collaborators' timelines
When JIRA ticket contains one Assignee and several collaborators, it will be split into parts and scheduled on each participant timeline. Remaining Estimate will be equally split between all participants:
Assignee part differs from collaborators' parts in color:
- Blue color stands for Assignee's part of a ticket
- Orange color stands for Collaborators' parts of a ticket
One can move the issue parts in order to change Planned Start or Planned End date values:
All the changes made on timelines with issue parts will be synchronized into JIRA and vice versa.
