Workload Calculation Algorithm
ActivityTimeline supports 2 different types of workload calculation: Balance & Liquid. These two modes define how the workload of the user should be allocated across multiple days.
It is beneficial to use Balance mode when you’re planning regular work that should be split evenly across some period of time, for example, marketing campaigns that should be executed over a couple of weeks.
The Liquid mode could be useful in the development of new features, as it allows to fully utilize the resource’s capacity every day until the task is finished.
Balance Mode | Liquid Mode |

Balance mode evenly distributes hours for a set period. If a task is estimated for 10 hours, and a manager schedules it for 2 days, the system will automatically schedule 5 hours per day for that task | The liquid mode will help you to plan the workload according to the default involvement of a user. If a task is estimated for 10 hours, and a manager schedules it for 2 days, the system will automatically put all hours upfront. It's a move convenient way of scheduling
